We are thrilled to announce the finalists in our Young Shoots competition. First, Second, and Fan Favorite winners will be announced at the Young Shoots reception on Tuesday, September 12, from 6 – 7pm at Sugar & Olives restaurant in Norwalk (21 Lois Street).  Finalists include (in alphabetical order): Ages 8-10: One in a Million, Samantha Henske A Bouquet of Lettuce,  Samantha Henske Buzzzz, Samantha Sandrew Ages 11-14: Back To Our Roots, Josh Suggs Apple of My Eye, Josh Suggs Chrysanthemums, Olivia Toth Ages 15-18:  Happy Rhubarb, Lili Dowell Untitled (Jump Rope), Claire Langdon Colorful Beginnings, Sarah Maybruck First place winners will receive a $100 cash prize and will also have the opportunity to lead a food photo shoot with Bill Taibe, local chef extraordinaire. Second place winners in each category will win a $50 cash prize.  Fan Favorite winners will receive a Westport Farmers’ Market t-shirt and a one-year membership to the Arts Center.
